Michael Cover is one of the best-qualified non court-based dispute resolvers in the world with significant experience as both a mediator and arbitrator and is President of ‘Michael Cover ADR’. Michael is one of the few people dual-qualified as a commercial mediator and an arbitrator.
Our Role
Fast Track Sailing works to raise the profile of Michael Cover as an accredited Mediator and Chartered Arbitrator and a member of the Board of Management of the CIArb. The team are tasked with educating the public on the meaning of mediation and dispute resolution, the power it holds in our society and the benefits it can provide across communities and companies. Fast Track Sailing promotes mediation as a growing profession due to changes in government funding and judicial system.
Activity
Fast Track Sailing offer Michael’s expert advice across all forms of media including written articles and filmed commentary. The team generate all of Michael’s press releases, provide a press cutting service and manage the Michael Cover ADR website and social media sites. In addition, the team build the attendance and profile of the networking event ‘the Mediators’ New Breakfast Club’.
Results
Articles such as ‘Mediation for the Masses’, ‘Opening the Door to a Career in Mediation’ and ‘Mediated Divorce for those with Manners’ have been placed across a wide variety of print and digital media. Michael Cover has appeared on BBC News providing comment on how mediation could assist with the British Airways strikes and the Mediators’ New Breakfast Club attendance has grown by 100% in 6 months.
